Harry Dyer(I)
- Actor
- Writer
- Casting Department
Harry Dyer was born in Hull, England. From a young age he was always a bit of an oddball and had a flare for imagination, fantasy and role-playing rather than football and sports (unlike many of his schoolmates). His game of choice growing up was 'the monster game'.
His love for comedy and making people laugh prospered at Cottingham High School, where he first began to write his own short films and sketches. This passion for performance lead him to getting a diploma in acting from Hull College, and then his Bachelors from The Drama School in Manchester; where he developed a new and deeper understanding of acting as a craft, a discipline, an art form.
After graduating in 2009 Harry went straight to work in London's West End; where he played the role of Buttons in "Cinderella". Shortly after he was cast as Newald Krutchens in "Jack the Giant Killer" (2013). In 2014 Harry won Best Actor at the Thurrock Film Festival for the award winning short film "the Loudest Minds" (which he also wrote).
Harry one day hopes to write and star in his own feature film (and also write his first novel).
