After his BA in Film Theory and Critical Studies and a Masters in screenwriting and directing from USC's prestigious School of Cinematic Arts, Evan triumphed with his epic sci-fi thesis "Recoil" (2015), which clinched an impressive 10 awards and over 20 nominations across 50 international film festivals with a staggering 265 VFX shots. He interned under legendary producer Mike Medavoy at Phoenix Pictures, was the right hand to media titan Mark Burnett, and had a soaring, versatile career through live event award shows (MTV Movie Awards); scripted television (24); reality TV (Survivor, The Apprentice, On the Lot); documentary films (An Inconvenient Truth); and feature films (The Hollow, InSight, The New Manna). Evan's prowess shines in his award-winning work, touching hearts and minds around the world with "The Teleios Act" (2019), a tour de force that secured multiple jury prizes, Best Director, Audience Choice, Best Actress, and a coveted Best Short Film accolade. Amidst his ongoing pursuit, he co-wrote "The New Manna" (2024) and made his directorial debut with "Motherland" (2025).
