Kaili Y. Turner was born in Boston, Ma. and raised between Mashpee (Native country) and Boston. She received her BA in theatre with a minor in dance at UMass Boston. Prior to coming to the Actors Studio Drama School Kaili performed in professionally in theater, Industrials, documentaries and Movies in New England and North Carolina. Some of her credits include Nan/Lydia in 103 Within The Veil (Company One), Ensemble member in The Story (Zeitgeist Stage Co.), Flossy in the world premiere of Ed Bullin's Muscial The Taking of Miss Janie (NorthEastern University) and Janet in Working Things Out that won critical acclaim at the National Black Theater Festival in 2005. Kaili also Co-Founded Swagga, Inc. a theatre and Dance Co that taught art therapy to at-risk youth and adults in the disciplines of theater and Dance. More recently some of her favorite credits from the Actors Studio Drama School include, Ms. Ameila in Ballad of the Sad Cafe, Madame Mertueil in Les Liaisons Dangerous, Nina in Sunset Baby, Agnes in BUG, Collette in Four Dogs and A Bone, 20/20 Mike in Riff Raff, and of course the array of characters that challenge her in Fires in the Mirror.
