Acting from Coast to Coast
Tiffany Pulvino was born in the New York outer-borough of Staten Island and grew up with strong Italian-American roots. She is one of four creative children raised by Brooklyn parents. As a child, she performed in school plays and has studied dance for most of her life. She has always enjoyed performing and being the "star of the show." After accomplishing some indie successes on the East Coast, she moved to Los Angeles to further pursue her bigger passions in television and film.
Shortly after hitting the LA scene, Pulvino booked a starring role in Damian Chapa film titled_El padrino 2 (2008)_ and was off to Mexico to film for a month. When she returned, she worked with 'Rita Wilson' and Jeanne Tripplehorn on a film titled The Trap (2007). Soon after, Tiffany's name was being mentioned in indie circles and before she knew it, she was called again to work with Damian Chapa in his film titled_Vatos Locos(2011)_.
Tiffany has trained with some of Hollywood's top acting coaches including Scott Sedita, Margie Haber and Howard Fine. And to date, has appeared in ten (10) TV shows including Showtime's hit show_Dexter (2006)_ directed by John Dahl and the show_Sons of Anarchy (2008)_ directed by Paul Maibum. She has also been cast in over twenty films including her latest work opposite Scarlett Johansson in the feature film_Don Jon's Addiction (2013)_ directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and film titled_The Untitled Spike Jonze Project (2013)_ and directed by none other than Spike Jonze.
But even while living in Los Angeles, CA, Pulvino continues to support her New York roots and works with a Staten Island-based film production company_'Lake Films'_ for which she has done four films to date with director Lance J. Reha.
Adding to her acting skills, she has written, produced, directed and starred in her films_Counter Life (2010)_ and_Delivery Boy (2012)_ which is hitting the festival circuits.
It is clear to see that this determined East Coast actor is here to stay and Hollywood is welcoming her with open arms.
