The third installment of the Zombies franchise is heading to Disney+ on July 15, and the streamer is whetting viewers’ appetites with a new trailer for the upcoming film. “Welcome back to Seabrook, where humans, zombies, and werewolves have learned to live together,” the teaser begins as we see the people and monsters of Seabrook High enjoying daily life. That all changes when a UFO carrying a group of blue-haired aliens lands on the school grounds, kick-starting a turf war with the students of Seabrook. Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly reprise their roles as zombie Zed and cheerleader Addison, respectively. The film follows the pair as they begin their senior year at Seabrook High, with Zed making college plans and Addison preparing for an all-important cheer-off. Disney+ debuted the trailer and key art for the original movie “Zombies 3,” the third film in the “Zombies” franchise that will premiere July 15 on the streamer. A special “Lost Song” version of the movie will air on Disney Channel on Aug. 12.

“Zombies 3” stars Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly as zombie Zed and cheerleader Addison, respectively, who are beginning their senior year at Seabrook High in a town that’s home to both monsters and humans. Exclusive: Some mysterious extraterrestrials are headed to Seabrook. Matt Cornett (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), Kyra Tantao (Law and Order: Special Victims Unit) and newcomer Terry Hu have joined the cast of Zombies 3, the third installment of Disney Channel’s hit Zombies movie franchise.

Cornett and Tantao will portray extraterrestrials A-Lan and A-Li, respectively. Hu, a nonbinary actor, will play the role of nonbinary alien A-Spen. The telepathically connected newcomers arrive in Seabrook as Zed and Addison begin their final year at Seabrook High in the town that’s become a safe haven for monsters and humans alike. Zombies, werewolves and humans are equally shocked by the arrival of these mysterious extraterrestrial beings.

Nickelodeon and Disney Channel are doing their part to help kids during the Covid-19 crisis.

Nickelodeon will air #KidsTogether: The Nickelodeon Town Hall, an hour-long special offering a kids-eye view of life during the coronavirus pandemic. It will premiere Monday, March 30 at 7 Pm Et/Pt. The special will directly address kids’ questions and concerns, include tips and insights from medical experts on ways to be healthy, and give first-person accounts from kids and families around the country who are social distancing and making changes to their everyday lives and relationships.

Pearce Joza (Mech X-4), Chandler Kinney (Lethal Weapon) and Ariel Martin (aka Baby Ariel) have joined the cast of Disney Channel’s Zombies 2 movie. They will play teen werewolves, siblings Willa and Wyatt and their packmate Wynter. In addition, reprising their roles from the first movie are Kylee Russell as Eliza, Trevor Tordjman as Bucky, Carla Jeffery as Bree, James Godfrey as Bonzo and Kingston Foster as Zoey, joining previously announced stars Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim as Addison and Zed, respectively. Production begins on May 27.

Zombies introduced Zed (Manheim), a zombie football player, and Addison (Donnelly), a human cheerleader, who united their respective communities in the town of Seabrook. Zombies 2 begins after last year’s groundbreaking semester at Seabrook High, as a new group of outsiders—mysterious werewolves—threaten the newfound unity and cause a rift between Zed and Addison.

As fans of the show know all too well, NBC cancelled Southland before its second season even began airing. Production was shut down after only six episodes of year two were produced. Thankfully, TNT picked it up and agreed to air season two and re-air season one. If they performed well enough, TNT would consider a third season.
