The supernatural mystery thriller sequel to the 2014 hit was dubbed in 5 languages and the Hindi version of the film is on an unstoppable dream run at the box office. Despite competition from big-ticket Bollywood entertainers like ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and ‘Raksha Bandhan’, the Hindi version of Karthikeya 2 managed to carve a niche for itself owing to the great reviews and positive word of mouth. With 1.10 crore on Day 3, the film saw a whopping 300 figure jump on its third day, a rare occurrence for new movie releases!

If that wasn’t all, with several shows running housefull, the screen count for Karthikeya 2 continued to rise with every passing day. Having started off with a mere 50 shows on its opening day in Hindi belts, the reception and occupancy the film received increased its demand to 1500+ shows by Tuesday.

Mahesh Babu and Samantha Akkineni's Dookudu, directed by Sreenu Vaitla, completes 9 years of release today (September 23). Director Sreenu Vaitla took to Twitter to remember some happy moments from the sets of Dookudu.

He also shared a few pictures of himself conversing with actor Mahesh Babu on the film sets. Dookudu hit the theatres in 2011 and turned out to be a blockbuster venture.

Chennai, April 16: Popular southern villain Adithya Menon, known for films such as "Eegaa", "Mirchi" and "Billa", will soon be seen in a Hindi film titled "Main Hoon Rajinikantha". Adithya will be essaying a character called Rajinikanth.

"I feel blessed to be playing a character called Rajinikanth on screen. This is our tribute to the superstar. I can't divulge more details about the project but it will be high on entertainment. This is definitely not a spoof on him," Adithya told Ians.

Faisai Saif of "5 Ghantey Mein 5 Crore" fame is directing "Main Hoon Rajinikanth", which has already gone on floors.
