Victor Jay Kubicek (last name pronounced Ku-bi-check) was born in Miami
Beach, Florida to the late ski champion J. R. Kubicek IV and model Eva
Havelka. His father was of Czech and German heritage and his mother is
of Czech and Austrian descent. Victor was discovered while running on
the beach at age 11 by a fashion photographer and was shot for Burdines
and The Gap. Victor entered Pine Crest Preparatory School shortly after
in 1992 and graduated in 1999. He attended Columbia University and
graduated majoring in Economics and Philosophy. While in college he
lent his likeness to global brands like Varvatos, Miu Miu and Versace.
After Columbia, Victor held a seat on the American Stock Exchange for a
short time before going to Los Angeles for a television show he also
co-wrote about young life at an old Ivy League college. This was the
beginning of a film and television career that culminated in the
co-founding of The Halcyon Company in 2006 at the age of 25 and the
acquisition and relaunch of the Terminator franchise at the age of 26.
Voted one of the Top 10 Producers to watch in 2008, the precocious
producer, writer, director and actor continues to challenge himself and
audiences alike.
