Christine Heinlein was born in 1985 and grew up in Nuremberg, Germany. After graduating from University of Potsdam (with a Bachelor's degree in German Philology and a Master's in Philosophy), she completed a Creative Writing and Visual Storytelling Seminar at Harvard University. In 2009, she studied screenwriting at the New York Film Academy in New York City and from 2010-2015 at the prestigious University of Film and Television in Munich (Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film München).
