Flor Siqueiros was born in México City, studied electronic engineering at Mexico's Instituto Politécnico Nacional, and subsequently attended
the UCLA's Film and Television School in Los Angeles. She has produced programming for the Latin American markets in the U.S., Mexico, South America, Puerto Rico, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Ms. Siqueiros founded Comatose Communications in 1995, an independent consulting production company to develop, design, and produce television programming and create advertising campaigns in both English and Spanish for the domestic and international Latin American marketplace.
Flor specializes in development by creating concept and content, supervising, directing and producing on set and on location, structuring production, supervising post-production and graphics, hiring staff / equipment, coordinating financing and distribution arrangements with broadcasters, working and with independent production entities to develop cross-border programming.
She is often requested by mainstream production companies to aid as an effective "Show Doctor" for Reality/Sitcoms, scripted and unscripted, and advertising campaigns.
Her vast experience in producing long and short format programming has allowed her to participate in all stages and levels of production, from fast-paced reality and game shows to soap operas and investigative news series.
Previously, Ms. Siqueiros supervised Univision Television Networks production while it was based in Los Angeles and Laguna Niguel. She created, directed and produced original programs, pilots, net newscasts, net shows, corporate image, on-air promotions, and net specials.
Additionally, Flor was part of the award-winning production team that kicked-off the first Telemundo station in Los Angeles, and Executive Produced/Directed Univision Network's first high-budget Reality Television Series. Her early engineering work as one of the youngest camera operators at ABC Network and recent art/production designs have earned her important awards.
Ms. Siqueiros has successfully designed/directed strategies to update the technical, art, lighting, wardrobe, make-up, continuity and stage operations for Televisa, Univision and MVS Multivision Networks by enlisting the consulting aid of award-winning independent and network professionals.
She was the first female Director/Producer of Televisa's prestigious Miss Mexico Pageant, produced and directed the 5-concert Special Michael Jackson's Dangerous World Tour in Mexico City, and supervised the format, content and production for Telenovelas and sitcoms.
Flor speaks fluent Spanish, English, and basic French and Italian. She resides in Los Angeles, currently developing television programming, and consulting for U.S. entities producing Hispanic-themed products for the U.S. and world market.
