Andrea Stefancikova

Andrea Stefancikova is a Slovakian born Canadian actress and filmmaker. Her talent was widely recognized when she was awarded Whistler Film Festival's "Star to Watch Award" in 2019. Andrea is best known for her notable appearances in a number of multi-award winning films such as Below Her Mouth, American Badger, Unmasked, Dark Harvest and NBC's sci-fi show Debris. In 2023, Andrea joined the cast of the popular Slovak crime-comedy series, Výnimocná Nikol (Excellent Nikol), an adaptation of the French - belgian HPI Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (2021). This is her acting debut in her mother-tongue Slovak. Stefancikova was born in Bratislava, then the communist Czechoslovakia. She has been creatively expressing herself through dance, piano, writing and singing from young age. She immigrated to North America with her family in 1998; trained and began acting in her early twenties, but as a former model, Andrea only fully dedicated herself to the craft in 2011. She has since accumulated an impressive volume of credits with growing success in the indie film circuit and television. She is fluent in English, Slovak, Italian, Czech and often speaks fluent Russian on screen. In addition to acting Andrea has more recently been noticed for her skills as a casting director. Her exceptional acting, linguistic and musical talents have made her a versatile and sought-after talent in the entertainment industry.
