Janelle Marie Rodriguez, is a multi-hyphenate talent who began her career early with notable T.V. appearances and her acting debut in Michael Bay's TNT series, "The Last Ship." As a Disney Channel Movie Surfer, she interviewed A-list celebrities including Steven Spielberg, Chris Pratt, and Zoe Saldana to name a few. Janelle earned a Best Actress nomination at The Official Latino Short Film Festival.
Her recent film, "Nuestra Santa Lucia", received acclaim at the LA Shorts Film Festival in addition to other prestigious events. She made history as the first Latina to host Monster Jam in the U.S. and served as a bilingual co-host on ESPN's "Now or Never" and as the host of ESPN's "SportsCenter" on Snapchat, breaking the barriers for young Latinas in sports.
In her spare time, she's a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, leveraging her platform to create the enlightening series, #CheckinThursdays, aimed at informing and dismantling mental health stigmas.
