She's a regular guest analyst on CNN Headline News and many other daily news channels across the country speaking about self-esteem issues and bringing enlightenment on subjects of race and class for young women of color. Nappily Ever After is her first film starring Sanaa Lathan. She lives in California with her husband. When she's not writing, she's swimming.
