Stella Lind began her career on stage in Copenhagen.
She soon turned to silent films as it promised a lot of action. She could easily be compared with the biggest Danish action female star, Emilie Sannom. They would both die during their aerial acrobatics.
Petite Stella Lind quickly turned to movies in 1912 at Skandinavisk-Russisk Handelshus (later Filmfabrikken Danmark) where she appeared in several bit parts - but not for long.
She appeared in more than 30 films in her short life.
During the filming of "Lyset og Livet" she almost drowned in a mill pond.
Being ambitious, she soon came to Nordisk Film, where she blossomed.
Clever Stella Lind was first in acquiring a license for automobile, motorcycle and airplane! (Long before Amelia took her wings).
