James McCourt is a British television Host, Entertainment Correspondent, Broadcast Journalist and Royal Expert based in Los Angeles.
Most recently James has appeared on various networks as Pop Culture & Royal Expert for CNN International, ET Live, Weekend Express & The Daily Share (HLN), EXTRA (NBC), Cover Story (GSN), The Princess Diaries (E!) and FOX and ABC news, covering engagements, births, weddings and other breaking royal stories. He also regularly writes for In Touch, Closer Weekly and Life & Style magazines about royal events.
James has appeared as the LA Correspondent for the UK's popular breakfast television show Good Morning Britain (ITV) and was the on-camera Celebrity Interviewer for BELLOmag which has over 5 million impressions per month. James is a certified Life Coach and incorporates this into his TV work where possible, including two recent pilot productions, Date Doctors (Yahoo) and Queen's of Heart. Other US TV appearances include Diana: Memories of a Princess and What's on DVD? for TVGN and the E! entertainment series "Sexiest....".
In the UK James is best known for hosting various National Lottery prime-time live draw formats on BBC1 (often in the channel's top 10 weekly ranking shows), and the also the hugely popular EuroMillions draw. James reported for Travel Channel from various vacation locations around the world and, in the past, hosted Disney Channel UK, Hot Wired (a tech show) on Channel 4 and the Gloryball for Challenge TV, the channel's first live game show.
James started his broadcasting career presenting for BBC Radio, side-stepped to become singer/songwriter in his own pop band In 2 Deep before returning to TV and launching Disney Channel in the UK where he remained for 4 years.
In 2014 James became a US citizen and also runs a relocation service for other industry professionals looking to make the move stateside. James has been married to celebrity fashion stylist Warren Alfie Baker since 2006.
