Paul Kampf is a 30-year veteran in the entertainment industry. He is an actor, director, writer, producer and a teacher at Paul Kampf Studios. He was a founding member and Artistic Director of Breadline Theatre Group in Chicago where he worked for over a decade. Under his guidance the company produced thirty world-premiere plays and built one of the most unique arts centers in Chicago.
After directing the feature adaptation of his Joseph Jefferson nominated play American Gothic Paul put his talents and passion into creating an important and necessary production/training studio in the heart of Hollywood. The success of this program, has garnered awards and international recognition. Learning from his experiences in world-premiere theater, Paul puts forth and approach to the industry that empowers the artist to be more self-sufficient. Kampf's unique production program for actors he teaches has created feature films and dozens of short projects that have given over 100 actors significant screen time.
Unwilling to settle for traditional paths to creative opportunities, Paul has independently produced nearly 40 projects ranging in scale from thousands of dollars to multi millions. Kampf has won three dozen awards for his writing, directing and producing including an Emmy. He is often brought on to rewrite and polish projects, as he keeps very busy generating original content for the big and small screens as well as the stage.
He is a founding partner of Equitas Entertainment Partners, a production/funding company dedicated to closing the gender pay gap as well as elevating under served talents in the entertainment industry. Paul has established producing companies in Puerto Rico and Eastern Europe as well, so that he can expand production and training to passionate artists outside of Los Angeles.
