Monica Patel was born in Delhi (NCR), Uttar Pradesh, India. The capital of India. She comes from a Gujarati-speaking family. She studied at Raghumal Arya Kanya Senior Secondary School in Delhi. She is fluent in Hindi English, Gujarati, and Punjabi Bhojpuri language. her parents passed away in Delhi when she was 12 years old. she came to Mumbai in 1998.
She made her major acting debut in the Hindi film "Bharat India Hindustan" (2000) opposite Milind Gunaji, directed by Rakesh Kakaria. She followed this with her Hindi television debut in the serial "Kunti" (2005), produced by the Adhikari Brothers, and her debut Bhojpuri film "Najariya Tohse Lagi" (2010).
She did many successful films like...Excuse Me, Time Pass, 1920 The Evil Return, Wah Zindgi, Badhai Ho, Operation Green Hunt.& many more....... She has a part in many popular Serials like Kunti, Kumkum, Kesha Ye Ishaq Hai, Chidiyaghar, Lapataganj, Balika Vadhu, Paap Puny Ka Lekha Jokha, she did many episodic-like... Savdhan India, Crime Petrol, CID, Fear File and Aahaat.
She did back-to-back three notable short films with well-known director-producer Subhash Ghai Camp."Beemar"(2017) " New Apple " and "Why they Call Them Suncatcher" Produced by ( Whistling Woods International)
She directed her first Hindi play at the age of 18, acted and directed in "Hamida Bai Ka Koda "and then went on to write and direct more than 20 plays in Hindi. She traveled to America, Canada, Egypt, Sweden, and Denmark for professional work.
Monica Patel Originally from a theater background, she spent more than 20 years in theater in Delhi and Mumbai, for a long time as a professional actress she was part of the Delhi Art Theater repertory where she performed many plays in different languages. - Hindi Gujarati Punjabi and Urdu.
She started her spiritual journey with Prajapita Brahmakumaris Isvarya Vishwa Vidyalaya in 2012 where she is a Life Member of the Arts and Culture Wing. Where also available as a spiritual teacher and motivational speaker. She has a deep understanding of divine spiritual knowledge and the practice of Raja Yoga meditation which has enabled her to maintain a perfect balance of love and humility. She has a charming personality and always sticks to her principles.
She has written and directed more than 15 plays, for Brahmakumari spiritual organization. She is known for directing the play celebrating 80 years of Brahmakumari spiritual institution, where more than 150 actors from the Bollywood film industry participated in the musical play. The world's largest hall in Asia, Brahmakumari Diamond Hall was watched by more than 30 thousand people together. it was a live teli cast in more than 137 countries. The drama titled "Sunhare Kal Se Sunhare Pal" written and directed and acted by her is another super hit drama "Nayi Subah Ki Nayi Kiran", "Yoga Ke Pankh" and "Shiv Avtaran" three dramas were also telecast live globally.
Very few people know about her that she is a cancer survivor. In 2009 she was suffering from non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL)Stage 4, Cancer. Dr has given her an ultimatum that she has a maximum of three months. But she is a real fighter, she comes out of it gracefully. But during that period of that time, she lost everything - health wealth career & family.
She is still working in TV & Films, Latest web series "Bolti Rooh" (2023) where is played a central role.
