Eric Carter(III)

Born in San Jose, California, Eric Carter began writing songs at the
age of 11. He studied piano and went on to receive a BA in Music from
College of Notre Dame where he studied piano with Thomas LaRatta. Eric
also has a Masters of Music from CalStateLA. He began playing in bands
in the San Francisco bay area, but relocated to Los Angeles in 1982. He
played keyboards with the band Choir Invisible and played on the record
"Sea to Shining Sea" released in 1984. He went on to play and record
with a variety of LA bands including A Drop in the Grey and Box the
Walls, as well as Leah Andreone, and Martha Davis (The Motels). Eric
also played on Def Leppard's CD "X", as well as the Faith Hill song
"Cry." He toured with Stanley Clarke in 2003-2004. He began composing
in the mid 80s, beginning with student films, then moving on to
commercials and industrial films. Eric began working with Makai Media
in 2000 composing music for websites and games. He has scored dozens of
independent, feature, and short films including; Killers 2, Evil Eyes,
and Terminal, as well as the documentaries True Hearted Vixens and
Bill's Mountain.
