“Section 8” has been acquired by AMC+ and Rlje Films, two business units of AMC Networks. The action film will debut in theaters and will start streaming on AMC+ on Sept. 23.

“Section 8″ centers on a former soldier who is sent to prison for life after he avenges the murder of his wife and child. There, he’s recruited by a shadowy government agency for an off-the-books assignment and the promise of regaining his freedom. The film stars Ryan Kwanten of “True Blood,” along with Dolph Lundgren (“The Expendables”), Dermot Mulroney (“Hanna”), Scott Adkins (“John Wick: Chapter 4”) and Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke (“The Wrestler”).

“Section 8” was written by Chad Law (“Drive Hard”), Josh Ridgway (“Howlers”) and directed by Christian Sesma (“Vigilante Diaries”).

Exclusive: Tracy Perez has joined the cast of Starz’ Power Book III: Raising Kanan for Season 2 in a recurring role.

Perez will portray Detective Adina Foyle, Detective Burke’s (Shanley Caswell) ex-girlfriend who is making a comeback as her new girlfriend.

From creator and showrunner Sascha Penn, Power Book III: Raising Kanan takes viewers back to the ’90s and the early years of the now-deceased Kanan Stark, portrayed in Courtney Kemp’s original series by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.

Also starring are Brittany Jo Alvarado, Kyle Colton, Marcus Jahn, Tracy Perez, Richard Riehle, Lisa Roumain, Neil Sandilands, and Scot Scurlock​​.

​​Destination Marfa follows four lifelong friends who decide to veer off the road and venture into a small West Texas town known as Marfa, where they encounter mysterious lights as the line between reality and fantasy become increasingly blurred​.

​Written and directed by Andy Stapp, the surrealist, sci-fi thriller was ​filmed throughout Texas. The film’s producers are Stelio Savante​, and​ Starla Christian​ with Stapp serving as executive producer.

Destination Marfa will be released ​in the US on August 3rd 2021, via Sp Releasing – part of independent film producer Steven Paul’s (Ghost Rider) Sp Media Group, which also includes Echo Bridge Home Entertainment.

In 2016, throughout Wisconsin, several clowns were sighted around the state. The figures would appear in alleys or dark spaces, holding black balloons. These sightings were part of the clown roaming craze, which took place throughout the year. Some of these sightings were part of director Adam Krause's publicity stunt, which hoped to draw attention to his horror short "Gags." In 2018, this short film has been developed into a feature film. This title will have its World Premiere at the Cinepocalypse Film Festival, in Chicago, Illinois. The film stars: Lauren Ashley Carter, Tracy Perez (Devil May Call), Aaron Christensen and Evan Gamble. To show in late June, a preview of the feature film Gags is hosted here. The film is an anthology. There are at least four tales, which cover socio-political issues. The short films loosely follow: a reporter, a right wing podcast pundit, a pair of cops and a trio of troublemaking teens.
