Regen Wilson is an actor, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and Danville, Kentucky. He started in the theatre at an early age and continued acting throughout his time in the U.S. Air Force, from his enrollment at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, through his eventual discharge from active duty in Washington, D.C.
He remained in Washington for a number of years, appearing on stage and in front of the camera in a variety of television shows and films including Turn (as British Colonel Floyd), Killing Lincoln (as Peter Taltavul), Veep (with Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Better Living Through Chemistry (with Sam Rockwell), Company Town (directed by Taylor Hackford), among others.
During this time, he also started working in commercials, including for such clients as Best Buy, Marriott, Volkswagen, the U.S. Postal Service, Veterans Administration, Citadel Federal Credit Union, Shentel Internet, the Washington Auto Show, the Washington Capitals, etc.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Wilson has continued to amass a growing list of credits, including in such television shows as Fear the Walking Dead, Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots, feature films like Broken Ceiling (as Ken Wolfe), The Spearhead Effect (as Officer Keller), and commercials for clients including Jet Blue, Mint Mobile, IHOP, Norton Lifelock, CBS Sports, Fruit of the Loom, and so on.
When not acting, Wilson is often engaged with the county of Los Angeles communicating on behalf of veterans issues and those experiencing homelessness, PTSD, unemployment and substance abuse. His lifelong hobbies remain history, hiking and politics...his business partner, a Dachshund named Sparky.
