Troy Mairs(I)

Troy is a DP/Cinematographer and founder of Kairos Film Co. He has years of experience working on narrative and feature films and has a next-to-zero work-life balance because all he knows to do or think about is how to make better images or tell better stories... To him, a perfect day off involves studying color theory and building a new lighting rig.

Troy's film career began where his military career ended. Shortly after leaving the service, he purchased a drone for purely practical purposes: search & rescue, building inspection, crop scouting, and the like. Unbeknownst to him, he was also buying his first camera, and it wasn't long after he was hand-holding that drone, creating his first movies. Fast-forward to today, and you'll find him on a set, in prep, or in the coloring suite, just as happy as can be doing what he loves.
