Palmer, who starred in both seasons of Murphy’s “Scream Queens,” wrote in her book, “Master of Me,” that she took an opportunity for a day off while shooting the show to schedule some other business meetings. The Emmy award-winning star is set to release a memoir titled Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative, which recalls the incident with Murphy.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Palmer writes in her memoir she was given the shooting schedule for Scream Queens and arranged to do something on her day off. However, on the day she took off, production told her she had to be on set but when Palmer didn’t oblige to fulfill her prior obligation, things got heated.

The clue, which was worth $200, was part of “The TV Show in Question” category. As it read, “‘Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?'” is hosted by this man who’s maybe more famous as a Bf than as a 3-time Super Bowl champ.”

The correct response was “Who is Travis Kelce.” In addition to his new hosting gig, the clue also referenced his relationship with pop singer Taylor Swift. One contestant, Derek, quickly gave the correct response.

The Parks & Recreation star has been in the frame to direct his first film for some time, and began production on a feature that was ultimately scrapped.

Lionsgate is planning a busy fall of 2025, as it now has two top titles set for that stretch.

The company announced Tuesday that its Michael Jackson biopic Michael from director Antoine Fuqua is now slated to hit theaters in wide release on Oct. 3, 2025, moving back by six months from its previously planned release on April 18, 2025.

Starring in the title role is Jaafar Jackson, who is the nephew of the late pop superstar, while Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Miles Teller and Colman Domingo round out the cast. Fuqua helms from a script by John Logan for the project that counts Graham King, John Branca and John McClain as producers.

Lionsgate has also set its comedy Good Fortune for wide theatrical release on Oct. 17, 2025. Writer-director Aziz Ansari stars in the film alongside Seth Rogen, Keke Palmer, Sandra Oh and Keanu Reeves. Ansari, Anthony Katagas and Alan Yang serve as producers.

Sony Pictures announced the title for the R-rated buddy comedy movie starring the pair that hits theaters Jan. 24, 2025. Lawrence Lamont is directing the TriStar Pictures film from a script by Syreeta Singleton.

A trailer was also released for the project that co-stars Lil Rel Howery, Janelle James, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Maude Apatow, Katt Williams, Joshua Neal, Aziza Scott, Patrick Cage and Amin Joseph.

One of Them Days centers on best friends and roommates Dreux (Palmer) and Alyssa (Sza), who learn that Alyssa’s boyfriend has squandered their rent money. The pals must scramble to avoid eviction in a race against the clock, while also striving to keep their friendship intact.
