Trent James is from Ukiah, California and began acting at the age of 9. He performed in local community theater productions as well as school plays throughout high-school. Trent was accepted to Sonoma State University and subsequently earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice in 2012.
After College he put himself through the Police Academy and was hired as an adult Probation Officer just prior to graduation. However, he was quickly recruited by the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office as a Patrol Deputy and left the Probation Department. Trent spent the vast majority of his law enforcement career as a solo resident Deputy and K-9 Handler in the town of Covelo. He later transferred to the Willits Police Department as a Patrol Sergeant.
Trent decided to voluntarily stay out of Law Enforcement towards the end of 2021 and relocated to Houston, Texas, where he started his own Business as a licensed Private Investigator. At the beginning of 2024 Trent relocated to Los Angeles, after obtaining a scholarship at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and began to pursue his life long dream of becoming an Actor.
