Sam was born in Torbay in the 70's, and grew up in Manaton, a small remote village on Dartmoor.
Not having a TV in the home meant Sam spent a lot of time playing out in the moors, creating characters and play-acting with his siblings friends.
Sam quickly developed a passion for acting, feeling at home in school plays, and performing in local productions with MED Theatre.
He studied drama at Ashburton comprehensive (South Dartmoor College), Exeter college and graduated from Royal Holloway in Drama, Theatre Studies and Media Arts in 1998.
He has continued to work across TV, films and Theatre whilst living in London and simultaneously working within the Third Sector.
