Media consultancy Kinesis has hired former Nielsen MD Peter Cornelius and ex-jwt boss Ross Howarth.
The double hire increases the four-year old firm’s number of consultants to five, with both Cornelius and Howarth taking on the title of principal.
Cornelius was MD of Nielsen from 2002 until February of this year, and recently oversaw the long-awaited introduction of the Internet Advertising Bureau’s audience measurement system.
Cornelius also worked on the agency side, having spent five years at the media agency formerly known as Zenith Media, now MediaCom.
Ross Howarth, formerly of TV network Prime, has also worked at Jwt and Y&R, where he was media director.
The duo join a team consisting of founding principals Alan Robertson, Richard Halmarick and Allan Medforth, who launched Kinesis Media in 2008.
