In 2018, she was diagnosed with stage 3C colon cancer. She had a brief remission in early 2019. Disease later metastazed to her para-aortic region and has begun growing up to her back. As of May 2020, she has stage IV metastasic colon cancer with her tumor markers continue to go down.
