Director of cult indie zombie film Day 66 (2023) and short films Cuckoo (2023) and Disappearance at The Rock (2025).
Russ has loved movies all his life and always wanted to make one, so in 2017 he wrote Day 66, which started production on 25th April 2018. The last filming day was on 15th June 2019 and it took some time to find someone willing to edit a feature length film and then Covid struck. During post-production, Russ wrote and directed short film, Cuckoo, about transient drug dealers targeting a vulnerable man. 2023 marked the release of both movies. In April 2024 Russ filmed Disappearance at The Rock in Gibraltar and it premieres at the Horror On Sea Film Festival (UK) in January 2025.
