      In partnership with Bob Allison aka Bernard Collin Day they formed the pop duo The Allisons, passing themselves off as brothers and came 2nd in the Eurovision song Contest in 1961 with 'Are You Sure' which went to No 1 in the UK pop charts. Bob died 25 November 2013, aged 72.
