Sara Sofia is an actress and athlete of Italian-Moroccan descent, born in Frankfurt, Germany. She grew up between Germany and Naples, Italy, and was raised trilingual. She is fluent in Italian, German, French, English, and Moroccan, and is currently studying Hebrew and Spanish.
Originally pursuing a career in psychology, Sara holds a B.Sc. in Psychology and a Master's in Cinema Studies from prestigious European institutions, including the Sorbonne University in Paris, Goethe University in Frankfurt, Birkbeck University in London, and Università del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
Her passion for acting began at the age of six, playing Mary in a stage production of the Nativity story for six years, touring with her local theatre group throughout Germany. She has a rich theater background, complemented by her skills in Taekwondo, track running, gymnastics, soccer, and Capoeira.
In 2021, Sara founded Calming Spot, a wellness and mental health company with a physical location in Santa Monica, CA, which has been featured in The New York Times and Women's Wear Daily (WWD).
