Ruperto Vanderpool, a natural born comedian who's best known for his
pantomiming humor and his endless variety of facial expressions. Born
and raised in New York City the Bronx as son of Dominican parents,
allowed Ruperto to be exposed to a diverse array of cultures that have
provided him with many experiences, which today he incorporates into
his stand up routine. "Funny things always happened in my house being
that there were 8 of us." It's no surprise that he brings an extremely
high level of energy, personality and style to the comedy stage that is
hard to find today. Ruperto is currently featured in a major motion
picture " The Cookout" produced by Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit Films
and Lions Gate Films. Ruperto's television appearances consist of CBS
Urban Latino TV, BET's Comic View, Galavison's Que Locos!, special
featured guest on It's Showtime at the Apollo, Ricki Lake and NBC's Law
& Order special victims unit. He was chosen to perform at the Latino
Laugh Festival in San Antonio, Texas and recently made his debut as a
writer for the online animated series, La Familia which can be seen on
the new website icaramba.com. When asked about his most memorable
perfomansce he immediately brings up his two shows at the theater I
Madison Square Garden for the popular New York radio show La Mega 97.9
FM. "My voice was hoarse, I closed out the show and brought the house
down! The feeling was incredible!!" Comedy is just one part of this
magnetic performer's rising career. Ruperto Vandrpool is read to take
