Craig James Pietrowiak, the founder of the International Screenwriters' Association (ISA) is an award-winning writer, director and producer who grew up on the north side of Chicago and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in entrepreneurial management. In the early part of his film career, he produced multiple award-winning short films including Contract Killers and Karma Café as well as a few independent feature films. But it was his TV pilot Wrigleyville that got him noticed by a major Hollywood agency which led to literary representation and a move to Los Angeles. After some time pursuing writing and finding difficulty in uncovering helpful resources to develop his craft, he started the ISA to make it easier for screenwriters to find the tools necessary to connect to the industry and launch their career. Pietrowiak's recent focus has been on the expansion of the ISA and growth of its international membership, as well as his filmmaking and acting career.
