Shiven Basnet is an Indian Actor born on February 9,1999 in Dehradun, Uttrakhand to Mr. Pradeep & Geeta Basnet. His formative years were spent in Dun, where he attended Cambrian Hall for his schooling and later graduated from DAV PG College. With his father serving as a clerk at the State Bank Of India, Shiven's journey into the world of acting began to take shape. Following his graduation, he ventured to Delhi, immersing himself in the art of theatre for four enriching years with the esteemed Kshitij Theatre Group, which led by the experienced National School of Drama's Alumni, Bharti Sharma. During this time, he showcased his talent in plays such as Tughlaq, Charandas Chor, Lottery, Ashad Ka Ek Din and Andha Yug. His dedication to the craft saw him also take on roles in various movies starting with Student Of The Year 2, Nadiawala's Tadap & Dear Dia. Shiven's cinematic debut unfurled in Harshavardhan Kulkarni's acclaimed film, "Badhaai Do."
Additionally, he has contributed to notable projects like Karan Razdan's "Hindutva" and Mittal Gene's "Once Upon Two Times," Shiven has graced the screen in, further solidifying his presence in the realm of cinema with his performances and dedication to his craft.
