Pablo Escobar was born on 1 December 1949 in Rionegro, Medellín, Colombia. He was married to María Isabel Santos. He died on 2 December 1993 in Medellin, Colombia.
By the mid-'80s Escobar owned 19 different residences in Medellín alone,
each with a helipad. There was so much money rolling into his
enterprise that figuring out how to invest it was more than he could
handle; millions were simply buried.
