- Gino Cafarelli is an american actor, filmmaker, & author. Born & Raised in Queens, N.Y. Most recently seen in the smash horror hits "TERRIFIER" & "TERRIFIER 2", HULU's Emmy Nominated 'PAM & TOMMY", and a Recurring Role in SEASON 2 of "GODFATHER OF HARLEM. Recent Films "CAPONE" w/ Tom Hardy, , HBO's "'BAD EDUCATION " w/ Hugh Jackman, & Martin Scorsese's "THE IRISHMAN"
Gino posted his very first reel to YouTube, while residing in LA in 2008 , and was subsequently discovered by writer Robert Siegel - writer of the Oscar nominated film "THE WRESTLER." Gino was offered the supporting role of "Jeff Aufiero," opposite Patton Oswalt in "BIG FAN." Gino's performance & film received critical acclaim premiering at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival in U.S. Dramatic Competition. The film was later nominated for a Gotham Award, as well as an Independent Spirit Award.
Gino Cafarelli re-teamed with writer/director Robert Siegel on the the movie "CRUISE". Inspired by the short story "Franny Lew", written and directed by Gino. He had a supporting role in "CRUISE" , and served as Executive Producer.
Recently a Guest Star on CBS's "THE EQUALIZER" . Other TV credits include: "Blue Bloods", "Ray Donovan," "Happy" , "Blindspot" "Boardwalk Empire," "Nurse Jackie," "Dexter," and "Castle"
Other film credits include Robert Deniro's "THE GOOD SHEPHERD" Gino also directed and produced the short film "BRICKLAYER'S POET", which won the audience award at "VISIONFEST"
Gino Cafarelli is developing & writing screenplays and currently shopping an independent TV series he created and wrote.
The release of his first children's book called "Athena Visits The Marina" is in bookstores now.
