Bruce Ross(VI)
- Actor
- Additional Crew
I am a New York City-based actor who has appeared in dozens of stage productions and was a member of the renowned Reckless Theatre Company.
Recently I starred in THE WRITER as the titular character. Written and directed by the Lithuanian director Romas Zabaruskas, THE WRITER was filmed in Brooklyn and Lithuania.
My film credits Include THE INNER GLOW OF THINGS (Tribeca Film Festival); THE ACCOUNTANT, written and directed by Glenn Gers (Fractured, Mad Money); WARMTH (Independent Film Channel Award); FAMILY THERAPY, with Mark Margolis (Pi, Breaking Bad), and BRING HIM BACK DEAD, with Daniel Baldwin.
Television credits include the premiere season of Z ROCK (Independent Film Channel) and playing Al Gore on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.
I appreciate the opportunity to bring my emotional truth and humanity to every role I play, leaning into both my strength and my vulnerability.
I was born and raised in Philadelphia and spent most of my college years in Wisconsin. I have traveled to over 30 countries and find joy and adventure in every place that I've visited. Bhutan is my next dream destination.
Currently, I relish the time I spend at my 20-acre farm in upstate New York which I share with my husband and dog. I love tending to the flower beds and growing vegetables, canning what we can at the end of the season. I especially value the opportunity to learn from local farmers and Amish neighbors about how to prepare elderberry pie or make amazing pickles, among many, many other wonders.
