Aurora Gatwenzi Mbonimpa is a Canadian actress. She was born & raised in Sudbury, Ontario to Burundian & Congolese parents. She is the daughter of author Melchior Mbonimpa. She can be seen in season 11 of Letterkenny (2023), as well as season 1 of La Petite Mairesse (2022) & more work to come.
She graduated from Laurentian University with a Bachelors in Arts in Modern Languages (Spanish & Français) and spends her time teaching English and French between Canada and Spain.
Outside of her on-screen work, Gatwenzi has published a poetry book entitled Gold Pours published by Latitude 46. (store.latitude46publishing.com/products/gold-pours) & has much more written work up her sleeve. In her free time you can catch her reading, doing spoken word poetry and singing early 2000's RnB on repeat.
