Martina Meimetis

Martina Rose Meimetis was born in Anaheim, California on February 24, 2010. At the age of 2 1/2, Martina began to tell her parents (Nick and Annette Meimetis) that she wanted to "get inside the TV" when she would be singing and dancing to her favorite Disney shows. She was issued her first Entertainment Work Permit at age 2 years, 11 months old and went to her first audition at age 3. Fearing she was too young to know what she wanted to do, her parents put a "hold on acting" until she got older and signed her up for dance classes in the interim at age 3. She also began performing in children's theater by the age of 6. There were 2 plays per year and Martina earned herself a solo in every one of them those several years that she was involved. Martina began dancing at age 3 in all different genres of dance such as ballet, tap, lyrical, jazz & hip hop. She continues her dance classes and recitals presently. Martina also was a Pop Warner cheerleader and a Girl Scout for several years and briefly took Acro/Tumbling. At age 8, Martina was still asking about doing acting so her parents revisited the conversation and made a pact with her; she would need to commit to doing background work for at least a year and if she was able to wake up early to drive to LA and do the long hours on-set, her parents would allow her to start auditioning for roles again. She proved herself serious and she then signed with an agent. Martina has done print modeling, commercials, theater, short films, and more recently, feature films.
