Roger Ferret is an assistant director and unit production manager born in Paris on January 28, 1932.
In 1954, he joined PAC, André Hunebelle's production company, where he worked as an assistant director on a whole series of films, from "Mannequins de Paris" (1956) to "Miracle des Loups" (1961). He then became a unit production manager for more demanding films, such as those by Jacques Doniol-Valcroze, Pierre Kast, Jacques Rivette and Pierre Schoendorffer.
In 1960, he co-directed with his colleague from PAC, Yves Prigent, the beautiful short docudrama "Concerto de l'aube".
