Based on the beloved best-selling books by Paula Danziger, "Amber Brown" is an unfiltered look at a girl finding her own voice through art and music in the wake of her parent's divorce. Liliana will star alongside Sarah Drew (Grey's Anatomy, Cruel Summer) and Carsyn Rose (The Rookie, Cousins for Life), portraying the role of Brandi Colwin, the best friend of Amber Brown. Brandi is a bubbly, eccentric, independent spirit, and takes pride in her quirky personality. She doesn't bow to peer pressure or care what anyone else thinks. She has a mischievous streak but is also a sensitive and loyal friend. "Amber Brown" is slated to premiere on July 29, 2022 and will be the first of Apple TV+ slate of live action kids and family series to be released.
Liliana's additional credits include her role in "The Slows," a moving and powerful short film, written and directed by Nicole Perlman. Based on a short story by Gail Hareven, starring Annet Mahendru, "The Slows" tells the story of an enlightened future where humans no longer need to pro-create. The story center's around a woman who infiltrates one of the last wilderness compounds where children run wild and women still give birth the "slow" way. It explores the mystery of motherhood and raises provocative questions about the idea of progress. Liliana was a standout in the film, portraying one of "the slows" that runs carefree and wild in the forest and playfully teases a younger "slow".
Born into a family with an Israeli Canadian mother and a Japanese American father, Liliana was immersed in various cultures, giving her a natural sense of wonder, excitement, and appreciation of the world. She was raised in Tel-Aviv, Israel, Sarasota and Portland. Liliana is Jewish and is currently studying for her Bat Mitzvah. She speaks both Hebrew and English at home.
While performing has always been one of Liliana's greatest passions, she also has an impressive background as an athlete, excelling in gymnastics. She most recently showcased her athleticism on the commercial front in her modeling campaigns with Nike and Adidas. In her downtime, she loves fashion, especially "thrifting," and always strives to find new ways to blend creativity with resourcefulness. She is a budding environmental activist and shows great enthusiasm for learning how to protect our planet, and promoting environmental awareness. Always a self starter, Liliana taught herself American Sign Language and is currently learning Japanese, Thai, and French.
