Hailed as "a true artist who really understands the art of scoring" (Mark Snow) Vincent is a Film, Game and New Media composer who has a deep love for the orchestra, experimenting with new music and collaborating with others. As a classical and jazz pianist, Vincent specializes in orchestral scores and instrumental writing, as well as MIDI mockups and score notation. He is highly experienced in Logic Pro X, has experience with other DAWs such as Pro Tools, Cubase, and Ableton Live 10, and works extensively in Sibelius, Finale, and other notation software. He also studies and works with middleware programs like FMOD, Wwise, as well as implementation in Unity.
An avid performer, teacher, and composer, Vincent spends his time helping others through music by teaching violin, composition, and piano to students of all ages. He's performed in many different venues and plays in many different styles adapting to whatever new opportunity arises. He has performed in locations such as Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, NYCB Theater at Westbury, at institutions such as the Peabody Conservatory, SUNY Potsdam, C.W. Post at LIU, and Adelphi University, and has performed piano solos at SUNY Potsdam, Eastman Theater, and Carnegie Hall. Vincent has composed for and performs with Jazz ensembles, fusion groups, string quartets, and as a solo pianist all over New York State.
Vincent is a graduate of the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University studying Music for New Media under Thomas Dolby and Christopher Kennedy. He was a recipient of the Shirley Yang Music for New Media Scholarship as well as the Fanny Thalheimer Memorial Scholarship, and studied with teachers and performers of incredibly high caliber from all over the world. His mentors and teachers include: Thomas Dolby, Christopher Kennedy, Judah Adashi, Joel Puckett and Omar Thomas among others. Vincent has been able to compose and arrange music across numerous genres and for many different ensembles and settings, including producing a "live-to-picture" concert of his works. During his time at Peabody, Vincent was an Intern and score editor for the composer Herman Beeftink, as well as an employee and orchestrator for MPath Tracks. Vincent worked on orchestrations for the Netflix original series Bridgerton as well as The Big Apple Circus which staged in New York City. Vincent works for Mpath Tracks, is a Lead Composer and Audio Director for Fire Games Studios, as well as an additional composer for Ryan Thomas.
Other than films and games, Vincent has written music for Virtual Reality, Podcasts, Brand Videos, Television, Trailers, Orchestral Ensembles, Chamber Ensembles, Jazz and Choral groups among others. Vincent loves collaborating with others to immerse watchers, listeners and players in new and exciting settings and has a deep passion for creating the highest quality music possible.
