- Additional Crew
A California native, Jon Maxwell is a classically trained actor who exhibited his creative and artistic abilities very early in life. In primary school he participated regularly in plays and sang every morning in the school choir. In the 3rd grade he studied Greek mythology and Latin which gave him a tremendous advantage in understanding language. His first paid acting role came at the age of 11 when he joined an ensemble cast at his local community theater. In his teenage years, Jon attended an arts "magnet school" which allowed him to specialize in subjects such as theater, dance, movement, drawing, sculpture, and film. In his senior year, he played Reverend Samuel Parris in a production of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" -- a role which garnered him the Best Actor award for that year. Jon also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and worked as a software engineer for several years.
Besides his work in film and television, Jon has appeared in a multitude of television commercials. In addition to his background as a dramatic actor, Jon has also studied sketch writing and improv with Upright Citizen's Brigade.
