Marvel Studios has released two new official stills from Daredevil: Born Again ahead of its Disney+ debut next March. The first shows the Man Without Fear in costume, while the second highlights a tense confrontation between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk.

We can also confirm, courtesy of Disney's press site, that this exchange between the two enemies takes place in the first episode.

"I think it's a series that can run for multiple seasons," Marvel Studios' Head of TV, Streaming, and Animation, Brad Winderbaum, confirmed earlier this week. He'd add that the "intricate" New York setting makes Daredevil akin to Game of Thrones in the sense "[there are] just multiple factions vying for power in really complex ways."

Over the last few years, Oscar winner Rami Malek has developed quite the line in playing socially awkward, variously psychologically traumatised, somewhat eccentric geniuses who sit all across the moral spectrum. Mr. Robot's Elliot Alderson, No Time To Die's villainous Safin, Bohemian Rhapsody's Freddie Mercury... the list goes on. In The Amateur, Slow Horses alum and One Life director James Hawes' upcoming revenge thriller, Malek is CIA decoder Charlie Heller, a man whose life is turned violently upside down when his wife (Rachel Brosnahan) is killed in a terrorist attack. In the tense first trailer for the film, which boasts the likes of Laurence Fishburne, Caitriona Balfe, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Stuhlbarg among its starry ensemble, it very quickly becomes clear that Charlie is set to become a worthy addition to Malek's resumé of unorthodox mavericks. Lina Esco, the actor best known for “S.W.A.T.” and “Kingdom,” has joined the cast of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s new film “Rip.”

Joe Carnahan is directing the action thriller for Netflix. “Rip” follows a team of Miami cops whose trust begins to fray when they discover millions in a derelict stash house. The official logline teases: “As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything for the team is called into question — including who they can rely on.”

Netflix declined to comment on Esco’s casting.

Along with Damon and Affleck, the cast includes Sasha Calle, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Scott Adkins (“John Wick: Chapter 4”) and Nestor Carbonell.

In “Rip,” Esco will be playing a character named Captain Jackie Velez. The actor starred on “S.W.A.T.” for five seasons between 2017 and 2022, portraying Officer Christina “Chris” Alonso. She also directed the women’s empowerment film “Free the Nipple.

Jon Bernthal, the man known for portraying the role of Frank Castle in the iconic Marvel show The Punisher, has been missing from the MCU roster. Fans dearly miss his presence in the iconic role and want to see him in future projects.

Previous reports have indicated that Daredevil: Born Again would not shy away from depicting visceral on-screen violence, but a lot of fans remain unconvinced - especially after the relatively tame Echo, which boasted Marvel Studios' first ever TV-ma rating.

Whether Born Again will be able to come close to the sheer brutality of the original Netflix series remains to be seen, but Marvel Studios' Head of TV, Streaming, and Animation, Brad Winderbaum, has once again suggested that the show will not hold anything back.

Christian Wolff, Ben Affleck’s character from the 2016 action thriller The Accountant, will be returning to the big screen next year – and his comeback is going to be a violent one. The Motion Picture Association ratings board has revealed that they’ve given The Accountant 2 an R rating for strong violence, and language throughout. Following the release of the first teaser (see below), we may know exactly how Spider-Man will be referenced in Born Again.

Marvel Studios offered fans a first look at Jon Bernthal's 2025 return as the Punisher. 

Bernthal is one of several returning Daredevil actors set to star in Disney+'s Daredevil: Born Again, joining the likes of Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk. 

While his return as Frank Castle has long been touted, fans have not gotten to see the actor back in action (at least officially) in any capacity since his last appearance in The Punisher Season 2 from 2019.

It's hard to believe that Agatha All Along has been on our TV screens for seven weeks. Marvel Television's most recent series has been three years in the making, bringing Kathryn Hahn back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the nefarious ancient witch Agatha Harkness. No need to pinch yourselves, Marvel fans, because "Daredevil: Born Again" really is happening and we have the first official footage to prove it. After a series of fits and starts, including a very public retooling with a fresh creative approach, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige finally figured out the right way to approach a grand reunion featuring several of the cast of characters established throughout Marvel's Netflix shows. Although technically not under the umbrella of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the time -- each series could vaguely reference events that happened in the movies, but the movies themselves would sooner have laid the groundwork for a DC crossover before ever even suggesting that a devil in Hell's Kitchen was running around with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and the rest of the so-called Defenders -- that didn't stop the studio from finally bringing them under the MCU roof in recent years.

A new Marvel trailer is offering some major teases for the new year, including a new look at Ironheart and heaps of fresh release dates.

In the new footage for Ironheart (which releases Tuesday, June 24 on Disney+), we see Dominique Thorne’s genius inventor Riri Williams as she aims to “build something undeniable.” The clip offers another look at her high-tech outfit (5/5, if you ask us), as she flips a massive truck and zooms past traffic à la Iron Man. But will she have to do some “questionable things” in order to achieve greatness?

Late last night, fans who played the first episode of Agatha All Along were treated to a new trailer revealing the first official footage from Daredevil: Born Again, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Ironheart, What If...? season 3, Marvel Zombies, Eyes of Wakanda, and even Wonder Man.

We imagine this was meant to debut alongside tonight's two-part finale, as Marvel Studios typically releases its teasers at prime time rather than when most of the world is asleep!

Regardless, we now have confirmation that Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is coming on January 29, with Ironheart set for a June 24 launch, Eyes of Wakanda rolling out on August 6, Marvel Zombies eyeing October (right in time for Halloween), and Wonder Man confirmed for December.

Marvel Studios has revealed that the popular Daredevil series will return to Disney+ with all of the original series’ main characters. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise their roles as the vigilante Daredevil/Matt Murdock and the criminal kingpin Wilson Fisk. The new 18-episode series titled “Daredevil: Born Again” will premiere on March 4, 2025 for U.S. viewers and the following day in the UK.

The series marks a comeback for the Netflix show, which finished its third season in 2018 but faced delays in continuing the story. Marvel has now aligned the continuity with its television plans. According to the synopsis, the story will focus on Murdock working as a lawyer while Fisk aims for political power. Created in 1963, Daredevil has been one of Marvel’s best-ever characters. For newbies, when he was a young child, Matt Murdock was accidentally doused with radioactive chemicals that blinded him. However, it also gave Matt super-enhanced senses as well as a “radar sense” to be able to “see” around him.
