Manny Santana was born on December 25, 1954 in San Fransisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic as Manuel de Jesus Santana. Known as "Tú Amigo Y Tu Pana" he arrived in the United States in 1983. As a broadcaster, he formed part of KDM radio in New Jersey, where he acquired great popularity and later joined radio stations such as WSKQ, Super KQ, FM 98 and La Mega in New York City.
He has performed on highly prestigious stages such as Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden as well as numerous Night Clubs in the New York, New Jersey metropolitan area. He is the first to broadcast live from a night club venue simultaneously on New York Radio with "The Fiesta con Polito". Manny has announced and worked with many iconic Latin artists and high profile global figures throughout his career.
For over eight years, he has been the official announcer of the great Dominican parade of Hudson County in New Jersey. His voice has been featured in thousands of commercials. Because of this and many more reasons Manny Santana is a role model for all Latinos.
