Born into a musical family in the heart of the Mid-West, Stacia dreamed of designing costumes for her childhood idol, Dolly Parton. Not only did that dream come true, Stacia is honored to have designed costumes for another musical icon - Prince. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, and spending almost a decade there costuming for Broadway and dance productions, Stacia moved back to her home state of Minnesota to work at Prince's fabled production compound, Paisley Park. She designed Prince's personal and professional wardrobe for the Diamonds and Pearls and Love Symbol eras.
Now a resident of Los Angeles, Stacia Lang is an in-demand costume specialist for Hollywood films, having created Space Suits (Interstellar, Passengers, First Man), Super Hero costumes (Marvel's Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Thor: Ragnarock, The Amazing Spider-Man movies, X-Men United, Fantastic Four; DC's Aquaman, Man of Steel, Superman Returns) and Sci-Fi and Fantasy attire (Star Trek Into Darkness, Tron: Legacy, Star Trek Nemesis, The Cell).
