Anthony J. Smets

Anthony Jordan Smets is from Los Angeles, California, and has always had a passion for the entertainment industry. He began by making YouTube short films with friends at a young age, realizing that his love for filmmaking and editing came naturally. Yet, he remained quiet and humble, perfecting his craft throughout the years being a volunteer filmmaker for small corporations, schools, universities, and underground music artists. Anthony then attended the University of Cal Lutheran, where he worked for his Bachelor's Degree in Multi-Media, studying all facets of the entertainment industry, from business to the creative outlook. Anthony also had multiple internships at Mercury Sound, Sony, Paramount Pictures, and Boys in the Castle as an assistant audio engineer and production assistant with director Colin Tiley. Anthony is then hired at P Music Group as well as starting his company 818Producitions, collaborating with artists such as Charlie Wilson, Babyface, Mr. Talkbox, Smokey Robinson, French Montana, Jim Jones, Soulja Boy, Kanye West, and others.
