Amazon Prime Video announced that “Phat Tuesdays” will debut on Feb. 4.
The three-episode docuseries tells of the Comedy Store’s Phat Tuesdays. Comedian Guy Torry founded and hosted the event after the 1992 L.A. riots in order to spotlight Black performers, and ended up launching the careers of several prominent comics. Celebrities including Nick Cannon, Snoop Dogg and Tiffany Haddish will appear in interviews discussing their experiences attending or performing at Phat Tuesdays.
Executive producers include Torry, director Reginald Hudlin, Byron Phillips, Original Productions’ Jeff Hasler, Brian Lovett and Jeff Bumgarner and Grammnet Productions’ Kelsey Grammer and Tom Russo. Co-executive producers include Joshua Firosz and Darren Toon for Original Productions as well as Jordan McMahon for Grammnet Productions.

Exclusive: Jim Belushi is set to light up Discovery with a reality series about his burgeoning cannabis business.
The According To Jim star is to star in Growing Belushi for the Discovery Channel. The series launches on August 19 at 10pm.
Produced by Live Nation Productions, the Gaga: Five Foot Two producer and A Star Is Born co-producer, and Ice Road Truckers producer Original Productions, the show will follow Belushi, his family and farmers as tends to his 93 acre farm along the Rogue River in southern Oregon.
It will also feature appearances from Dan Aykroyd and Judy Belushi, as well as a musical appearance by The Blues Brothers.
Belushi started growing cannabis in 2015 with a 48-plant crop and now has a booming legal cannabis operation, selling brands including Belushi’s Secret Stash and Captain Jack’s Gulzar Afghanica, which became known in the 1970s as the “smell of SNL”.

In Storage Wars a pair of auctioneers team up with some other folks to sell off the abandoned lockers of others, with the spoils going to the highest bidders. When it returns this April, it will mark the series’ fourth season. You can expect, according to Deadline, back-to-back episodes on April 16, with one premiering at 9 Pm, and then following right after at 9:30 Pm.
The show is a popular one on the A&E network, topping A&E’s list for adults 18 to 49. It is also hailed as the “third-most-popular non-fiction show on cable”, this for adults aged 25 to 54. You all like to see loot get taken!

A&E announced today that Storage Wars and American Hoggers will be back next month for new seasons. Storage Wars, the abandoned locker bidding series, returns for a fourth season with back-to-back episodes April 16 at 9 Pm and 9:30 Pm. A big hit for A&E, Storage Wars was the network’s top show last year among adults 18-49 and the third-most-popular non-fiction show on cable adults 25-54. Its Season 3 averaged 4.2 million total viewers. American Hoggers is also back April 16 with dual episodes. Returning for a third season of hog hunter Jerry Campbell and his Texas family, the series will air back-to-back new shows at 10 Pm and 10:30 Pm.
