In 2010, with the help of his partner Andrew Stephan, Dorsey launched a production company called ten100. Within a year of his company's formation, Dorsey and ten100 were recognized with both the Emmy® and the Peabody Award.
Year of the Scab marks the third film Dorsey has produced for ESPN's critically acclaimed documentary series, 30 For 30. Past films for the series include Pony Excess, the final installment in the first season of films for the series. The documentary detailed the pay-to-play scandal surrounding the football team at Dorsey's Alma Mater, SMU. Upon airing, the film became the highest rated documentary in the 30-year history of the network.
The following year, Dorsey directed and produced The Marinovich Project for ESPN films. The cautionary tale of quarterback Todd Marinovich's life and career in football premiered on ESPN to rave reviews and was nominated for an Emmy® in 2012 in the category of Outstanding Sports Documentary.
Most recently Dorsey served as Co-Executive Producer on Amazon's unscripted sports series, All Or Nothing.
