The last season of Netflix’s popular martial arts show Cobra Kai will start on November 15. The actor Yuji Okumoto promises that his character Chozen will have an interesting story. In upcoming shows, the character must decide how to balance his personal goals with his dedication to Miyagi-Do martial arts.

Okumoto said in a private talk that Chozen is still looking for happiness in his personal life while also taking care of his duties. One of the actors said, “He has a lot of unfinished business in Okinawa.” The main theme of his story will be putting young fighters’ training first, especially as they prepare for the Sekai Taikai competition.

“Cobra Kai,” Netflix’s hit martial arts dramedy, is in the midst of its sixth and final season, which is being released in three parts. Netflix released a trailer for Part 2 on Wednesday, and it’s a kick in the head.

In the five episodes of Part 2, Miyagi-Do heads to Barcelona for Sekai Taikai, the world’s most prestigious martial arts tournament. Per Netflix’s official synopsis “At the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do faces new challenges and old enemies as they fight to become world champions — can they stay united as internal rivalries bubble back to the surface?” In other words, Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (Billy Zabka) are at each others’ throats again, while the kids are feeling betrayed by Tory’s (Peyton List) defection to Cobra Kai.

Production on the sixth and final season of the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai, a continuation of the Karate Kid film franchise, was delayed several months due to the writers and actors strikes last year – but the extended wait was worth it, because the show is wrapping up with a 15 episode season (previous seasons consisted of 10 episodes) that has been split up to make it a three part event. The first batch of episodes dropped back in July, and the second batch of episodes are set to begin streaming on November 15th. Johnny Lawrence, Daniel Larusso and their students are headed overseas to compete in the international Sekai Taikai tournament in a new trailer for “Cobra Kai” Season 6 Part 2, which will drop on Netflix on Nov. 15.

The trailer shows the group landing in Barcelona, Spain and the group entering the doors of the karate competition, where they’re set to face off against 15 other teams. In addition to new rivals, Miyagi-Do will also deal with the fallout of Tory Nichols (Peyton List) defecting to Cobra Kai, while also fighting to stay united as internal rivalries bubble to the surface.

“We’ve heard all this garbage going around about loyalty. Almost all of us are trained somewhere else at some point,” Lawrence says in the teaser. “What matters is where our asses are now. We’re Miyagi-Do and we’re not losing. So wipe the smirks off their ugly faces.”

Do we really need a three-part final season of “Cobra Kai”? Netflix thinks so.

Trailers-wise, we are officially two-thirds of the way through the sixth and final season of the “Karate Kid” sequel series, which started way back in 2018 as a YouTube Premium show. Remember those days?

Since then, “Cobra Kai” has settled in nicely at Netflix. It’s a reliable series, though not an all-timer.

Netflix just released the first batch of photos from Cobra Kai season six part two. The new photos show Miyagi-Do out of the Valley and onto a bigger stage at the Sekai Taikai. The photos also provide our first look at Sensei Wolf, played by Lewis Tan (Deadpool v. Wolverine).

Exclusive: Actor and martial artist Lewis Tan has joined the ensemble cast in the 20th Century feature Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice, a buddy action comedy set in the criminal underworld from writer and director BenDavid Grabinski.

We're still waiting (and probably will be for a while longer) on a first look at some footage from Warner Bros./New Line's Mortal Kombat 2, but producer and co-creator of the iconic video game series, Ed Boon, has now taken to social media to share a teasing glimpse of one of the new characters who'll be debuting in the sequel, Kitana.

Her face is kept hidden, but we do get a look at the fan-favorite fighter's signature weapon and costume. Kitana will be played by Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actress Adeline Rudolph.

The Netflix series marked Rudolph's screen debut, but the Hong Kong-born model-turned-actress has also appeared in the CW’s Riverdale and Netflix’s Resident Evil series. She is also set to play the female lead in Millennium’s Hellboy: The Crooked Man.

The next Mortal Kombat movie is going to kick things up a notch. That’s according to Lewis Tan, who plays Cole Young in the films. Despite all the wild theories out there currently floating around the internet regarding the surprises and cameos set to be unleashed in Deadpool & Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds says he's amazed that some of the film's biggest moments and appearances have yet to leak or even be hinted at.

When asked about what aspect of Deadpool & Wolverine would he have wanted Marvel legend Stan Lee to see, Reynolds replied that he couldn't answer because that particular piece of the film is currently still a secret.

"Oh boy, there's some surprises in this thing that I cannot believe are not out or on the internet yet, thank God. But I think there are things in this film that we've been hiding that I feel like Stan would 100% [love], yeah."

Hugh Jackman went on to add that he wishes Stan could've had a cameo and director Shawn Levy revealed the scene that he would've had Lee appear in.

With time travel and changing the past serving as a central element of the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film, what would Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige change if he could also change the past?

In an interview with Blavity TV, it's revealed that Deadpool is struggling with whether he can rewrite the past by changing one moment and the interviewer puts that same question to Feige. If we could change the past, what's the one thing that he would alter?

Feige took some time to think about the question and it seems as if he was hesitating to even answer but he ultimately revealed, "In little ways, there's lots of things," began the prolific Marvel Studios producer.

He continued, "You can't finish a project and then look at it again and not see lots of little things that you would have done differently. In the big picture, we've been very lucky.

Did the recently released, final trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine give away too much of the movie? That's the questions posed to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige in a new interview with Blavity TV.

Feige admitted that he wouldn't be opposed to only having one trailer for each new MCU film released but that it's not really his call to make.

"I would be open to it," said Feige on the notion of only having one trailer.

He continued, "I don't know that our marketing department, who knows better and who knows that we have to appeal- not just to the people like ourselves, who watch every trailer and analyze every shot but also the people who are busy doing other things with their lives. We also have to get in touch with them to let them know that the movie exists."

DC Studios is wasting no time in setting a release date for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow now that the movie has found its director.

The high-profile movie will fly into cinemas on June 26, 2026, DC and Warner Bros. announced Tuesday. It is the second film to receive a release date since James Gunn and Peter Safran were brought in to overhaul DC under the new banner DC Studios. The first was Superman, which Gunn is currently shooting for a July 2025 release date.

Flimmaker Craig Gillespie was tapped by Gunn and Safran to shepherd Supergirl, which stars Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon). She’ll play Superman’s Kara Zor-El, the cousin of Superman. The feature film, from a script by Ana Nogueira, is inspired by the Tom King and Bilquis Evely comic, and will depart from the earnest take on the character seen on the CW Supergirl series.

Mortal Kombat director Simon McQuoid is back at the helm for the sequel Mortal Kombat 2, which recently wrapped production after a bumpy ride through the year of the strikes. This film will be bringing popular video game character Johnny Cage to the screen, with Karl Urban of Dredd, Star Trek, and The Boys taking on the role. Despite Urban’s established awesomeness, he was an unexpected choice for Johnny Cage, and there are some fans who have let it be known that they would have chosen someone else to play the part. Karl Urban marked the end of filming on Simon McQuoid‘s upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 on his Instagram, calling it “the most action packed fun I’ve ever had” on a film. Urban, who plays Johnny Cage in the follow-up to the 2021 film, also took the opportunity to show himself sans beard, which he’ll no doubt be growing back for The Boys, which will be returning for Season 4 later this year.

That strike came to an end in November, and filming resumed on Mortal Kombat 2 very soon after. The shifting release dates of Deadpool 3 kept fans on their toes this year, with September, November and May all hosting the third entry at various points.
