Born in Saint-Jean-d'Angely, France. Raised in New-York and Los Angeles. Alex Ranarivelo is a prolific, visual, and collaborative storyteller raised on Sergio Leone and "Star Wars".
His particular style mixes grounded and nuanced performances from his European influences with the fast pace and strong visuals of his American influences. Alex has a longstanding relationship with ESX entertainment, having directed "Born To Race" and a dozen since in a wide variety of genres, one of the most notable being "American Wrestler", starring Jon Voight, William Fichtner, which garnered multiple Best Film and Best Actor awards on the festival circuit and scored an impressive 92 in NRG test screenings.
