Cian Barry was born in Sligo, Ireland, in 1993. He studied drama at college in London. He has been the recipient of an Olivier Award amongst other honours. He has appeared in The Bill, Doctor Foster, Midsomer Murders, The Silent Man, and Father Brown. His films include In the Spider's Web, Holy Water, and Nina Forever to name a few. He has appeared in the West End in "Our Boys".
