Matthew Godden

Friends & Family know Matthew for his versatile physicality and big smile that can light up any room, back in 2012 Matthew got his first taste of acting on film after helping a friend out with a little short film called "Hi my name is". Many years later that film resurfaced via youtube and created a confidence boosting fire, so naturally he decided to start pursuing a career in film and television. After a few years of auditioning and enrolling in a local acting school, Matthew received his first two professional actra credits having roles in "Wrath of God" & with "Foul" showing at the 2022 Calgary International Film Festival.

During the early months of the pandemic, sets came to a full stop. As a creative writer in his downtime he came up with an original short psychological story called "There's Something Wrong With John" and after tremendous support from networking with the local Calgary scene, it was produced and filmed with Matthew taking the lead, this was a big milestone for his career.

When Matthew isn't on set, he is a local strength & conditioning coach in Calgary,Alberta and a competitive powerlifter.
